Possible new feature

Mamab and I discussed a new feature we may install.

Lord +
At level 1 you have the Option to go on a Crusade.
You will be tasked to slay an entire clan of creatures.
If you are successful, the player reward would be advancement to Level 2

The clan of creatures will vary.
There will be numerous creatures in each clan to slay.

We think this may be a nice new treat and also something quite different.
Of course, you would not be required to go on the Crusade, you could slay creatures in the forest.

Would be an interesting addition!
Unless there is something to lose, then make it hard like those venom snakes for the clan quest at level... Can't remember. But you know which snakes I mean, right? Then it's like a possible level skip instead of "I'll go get level 2, brb"

P.S. Crusader title comes too early

Well ......Mamab and I both know that level 1 can be annoying and player frustration to get past it rises sharply and equally as the player rises in titles.  We thought it may be a nice diversion from the normal level 1 fighting.

 - you get to meet and slay new creatures
 - your battles will be based on a 'cause' ..rid the clan
 - Only Lords+ would have this option
 - perhaps ...a 'LordCrusader' title also?

If I do as I intend, there should be several clans with always the option of adding in others. So the player would not be facing the same ones over and over.

But then again a player could always back out and wander the forest as they always have.

This has almost encouraged me to become a Lady sooner than previously planned: going on a Crusade. That stirs my blood. [Just my two cents as I am still 8 levels from being a Lady.]

I would like to implement this idea.

A new job with many more hours has severely limited my free time.
However, this is one idea I think will benefit all players and will need to find/make the time for.

I just hope I'll be at Lord level when you do get it implemented. Working on it!
